1349: FLV files not imported [#7326]

I have a folder of video podcast episodes, some of which don't show up in my library. I've tried rescanning the folder but the information message box that comes up afterwards says they don't meet import criteria and so they are skipped. The files play in MM4 and I can see the files in the My Computer node with correct times and bitrates. I can edit the tags but the changes don't stick (even with a Ctrl+S thrown in for good measure) when I move away from the My Computer node.
Other flv files play ok and show up in my library. I'm using MM4 1342 + Codec 1.06.
Any ideas?

Hi Stan,
Please let me know if this is still the case with the most recent build. If yes, please post a link to a sample flv that plays correctly, but doesn't scan.

Hi Rusty,
Everything works as expected. It was my mistake with an earlier build that would play .flv files but not keep them in the library. I forgot to edit my post.

I don't think that's the right ticket, I think it's this one:

1349 seems not to recognize any flv at all (0 out of 109 here). Kind of regression?

Confirmed. I can't import new flv files in 1349, although they do play. Flv files I had previously added to my library pre-1349 are still there and can be tagged as expected.

I made a fresh installation. When i try to tag them in the "My Computer" node, the tag values are not preserved.

Yes, same here, just to clarify...
It's only flv files that I had imported pre-1349 that I can tag and the tags are preserved.
New flv files won't import and if I try to tag them the tags aren't preserved.

The bug description reads:
0007326: Some flv files aren't read correctly
But it seems that in fact
none are read correctly with 1349. (Meanwhile it had been working with at least most flv files)

Yes, FLV files are not importable now at all (the old way did not work well and was causing more problems), will be fixed in the mentioned issue 7326.

Thanks KJIAAC. This file does not exactly correspond to FLV format specification in one header value and MM assumes now, it has wrong format. Will be fixed in the next build (1354), I've permitted this variation.
