Have you considered using an additional field to link artist names in the database ie "Carlos Santana" & "Santana" or "The Verve" and "Richard Ashcroft". It would be a great way of following a lead singer who leaves a band for a solo career, or a band that changes its name like "Shihad" I'm currently using your Custom fields but it's a little awkward.

Also will you be supporting Winamp3 in the future?

I plan to add support for links, particularly between songs, but probably also between artists or albums (as the example you pointed out).

I think there will be support for WinAmp3 once (the player itself and its plug-ins), but I'm not sure when and even if it is really necessary, because as I hope most of the users use Songs-DB internal player (with WinAmp2 plug-ins).

I tend to use the internal player most of the time, but there are time when I'd like to see the Album covers, so I switch to the external player and use my Winamp 2x plugins. hint hint

I see. I hope there will be an internal support for graphics, video and other things soon.
