Search drop down not working or clearing [#15100]

Hi - In b2123, I noticed two issues with Search.

1. The red X in the search next to 'Help' on the left, does not clear the field when clicking it.
2. The drop down next to the search box on the right does nothing. I was expecting it to display search history that can be selected.

BTW, I noticed that there are two pages of issues addressed with this release! That's awesome progress and much appreciated..

1) this red X is general close button for any tab, not for clearing (this is tab title, not edit box). But it would be better to hide it in case last and not closable tab is displayed. Will look at it, tracked as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=15100

2) this is filtered dropdown, i.e. it displays previous searches but filtered by currently inserted text. To display all items you have to delete your entry ('test' in your case).
