Windows 10 low volume issue (solved)

I just upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10, and was having a problem with extremely low volume. The solution for me was to uninstall my Realtek HD Audio drivers, and then re-install them by first right-clicking on the drivers .exe file I downloaded, clicking on "Properties"and then on the "Compatibility" tab, checking the box "Run in compatibility mode", from the drop-down menu I chose windows 7, and then installed the drivers. Everything is OK now. Hope this helps others.
