How do I creatw copies of music files in alt formats

Post by novice »

I expect this is a truly novice question: My library is in WAC files. I want to create copies of SOME files in alternative formats such as MP3 and FLAC. How do I do that?(!)

Thanks

There are several topics on this, but generally this isn't necessary as MediaMonkey can auto-convert when syncing to portable devices and streaming to DLNA clients. It may a bit slower (depends on hardware), but makes management of your media much less complex.

Thanks Lowlander. But I am not out of the woods just yet. Ultimately I am copying files to a CD. Not only do I need to burn the CD with an alternative format but I also need to know how much space the alternative formats will take up as I likely will add more tracks to the CD if there is room. So my strategy was to create a set of files in the library using alternative formats and then burning to a CD.

Can you suggest an effective way of doing this?
