Thank You

I have asked this qustion before and there doesn't seem to be a practical limit.

Fyi, I have been using MM with 170K for quite a while and have not had a problem. At times it is a little slow starting but nothing like iTunes .. oh my.

Thanks for the reply. So far I have not had any issues except, getting my iPod to sync. MM tries scanning the iPod then locks up.

There are some with 6tb's of songs, mm is the only program that can handle the huge collections and only have a hiccup from time to time, itunes comes down with the cramps on huge library's,

Make sure you're using the latest MediaMonkey (4.0.7 or latest 4.1 beta) and if iPod sync still fails capture it in a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69

With large libraries it is recommended to regularly run File > Maintain Library with complete optimization checked. Also defragmenting the database file itself (when not on SSD drive) can help improve performance.
