I really like this software, and have read posts about mmhelper.dll , and the developer claiming that there is no spyware or adware, BUT there is no reason on earth that mmhelper.dll should install a hook in Mozilla Firefox. I mean none at all. Why is a media player trying to install a hook in my web browser. Strange things are a foot. Uninstalled and now going to be using MusicBee.

I have never experienced that behavior, are you sure tha you do not have any plugin that interacts with multimedia apps?

Please provide more info, screenshots, ... anything that can allow us to track it?

MMHELPER.DLL only purpose is to hook into system events for detecting Multimedia Keys. Only way FF can complain is when it tries to override MM HOOK and MM tries to gain that back. Eg. NEXT/PREV buttons for navigating pages.
