MediaMonkey forum

Hi all.

No, I don't need help (despite the title of this forum), I'm just posting to thank the developers and supporters of MediaMonkey for making such an excellent product.

Up until recently I used iTunes, but when that ran into its upper boundaries on performance versus size, and I started using digital music in a heterogeneous environment (moved from just an iPod to Sonos for the house and an iPod for "on the move") it rapidly became obvious I needed a relpacement management program.

Enter MediaMonkey - what an excellent program: powerful, intuitive, performant, it also exposes the level of detail that iTunes so desperately attempts to hide. I can't praise it enough.

In closing I'd like to say that MM is worth a great deal more than the price of a "Gold" license, and I can't really understand how or why the free version is so feature-laden. I'd encourage anyone using the free version on a regular basis to upgrade, if only to say thank you to the developers.

p.s. I haven't actually tried synching the iPod with MM yet, so maybe I'll have a sudden change of heart

If you are going to do some iPod work make sure you have the latest beta 1175 lots of little fixes

check the wiki site out also nohitter151 put a good guide to sync... with ipod on it.
