MediaMonkey 1.3.5.0872 (Android) asks to scan at every boot

Post by PJChatman »

I am using MediaMonkey 1.3.5.0872 (Android).

And eveytime in turn on my phone I get a push notification that MediaMonkey is asking to scan my storage for media.

How do I stop this from occurring?

Thanks

Hi,
That is system notification that new storage is attached/mounted and MMA just asks you if that is correct :(

We are not sure why some manufacturers announce new SDcard Inserted Event on Device reboot even you didn't ejected and reinserted SDcard in device.

Thanks for reply. Versions prior to 1.3.5.0869 & x.0872 never responded to this action.

I assumed it was a "new feature" of the app or a bug.

Thanks

Hi,
Previous versions didn't asked but went with rescanning SDcards. It is no problem with smaller number of tracks, but on 400GB SDCard and 40k+ tracks it can go for hours and eat battery. Thus prompt is introduced in order to evade that. have you tried to update to MMA Beta 1.3.6.883?
