Your product does NOT work at all with Android version 9. Why does your website not say this? I have spend the last four hours trying to make this piece of garbage work - IT DOES NOT. It refuses to synch or upload anything at all to a perfectly functioning SD card in an Android phone.

Which version of MMW and MMA are you using and how (USB or wifi) are you syncing? What errors do you get?

Hi,
Sadly untrue, I bought the phone just to be able to test MMA on Pie and it works.

Android 9 does work here with my Galaxy S9 and also with LineageOS 16 (which is also Android Pie) on my old Galaxy S4 mini.

MMA (and Pro) is working (mostly) on my new S9+. However .flac files do NOT show in Folders view, although the files are there, and will play if selected via Library or directly from Samsung MyFiles. Sometimes the track order in the Library is incorrect so playing from Folders is required. Any ideas how to make MMA show .flac files in Folders.
Note: Files stored in Internal storage/Music/[Composer name]/[Album name].

I can't get my Windows 10 laptop and my Samsung galaxy S10 to sync. I am using Windows 4.1.2.4.1883 and Android version 1.3.5.0869. These are the latest versions. I know they're the latest because the solution to my inability to sync is to uninstall and re-install mediamonkey. While I'd been doing it on both devices, I've now shortened it to just uninstalling it on the Windows PC and re-installing. The synch happens naturally when I do that. The downside is that it syncs the entire library, not just updates. So it can take a couple hours.

I can't figure out how to debug this. I'm hoping there's some kind of pointer to an easy-to-follow guideline to making it work.

Are you doing a USB or wifi sync?

It syncs the first time the app is run, and then it doesn't. The message keeps telling me that my device is frozen and suggests I reboot the device. This doesn't work. The only thing that works is re-installing mediamonkey.

Before I posted my previous reply, I had skipped over the Developer Option suggestion in the URL you sent ... re-setting MTP. I found the correct path, changed the setting, and it seems to be working now.

- You said: "Settings > Developer Options > Select USB
  • configuration > MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)".
    - On this version of Android it's "Settings > Developer Options > Default USB Configuration > Transferring Files".
