[SOLVED] Stop playing when phone is locked

When the phone is locked, it will play the current track to the end and stop playing. When I unlock the phone it will resume, first playing the last song and then continue with the "now playing" list. Log ID: E4V696HILS sendt.

I'm unable to replicate on any of my devices can you please let us know what exact device you used and which MMA version?

I am using Huawei P10 (VTR-L29), Android 8.0.0. MediaMonkey 1.3.1.0751. Bose Quietcontrol 30.
Will try different headsets to see if there is any difference.

Does issue also occur
1) If you keep playback over speakers
2) If you use different music app

It looks like on some kind of battery saver.
Try to look to Settings to Battery or Security.
What I have found e.g Honor devices has this options:

Open “Settings” -> Tap on “Battery” -> “Close apps after screen lock” -> Scroll down to “MediaMonkey” - switch to “Don’t close”

Allowed MediaMonkey to run in the background and it is working. Must have been some SW update that disabled something...

Hi,
Settings depend on manufacturer UI, but usually it is located in Battery view where you can set background permissions or like in my case (Moto X4) under menu -> Battery optimization.
