MediaMonkey & iTunes Libraries

Post by gunslingor »

Ok, so I have my music library REALLY well organized on one drive separate from my OS. And I notice I have 9GB left on my C drive... it looks like both media monkey and iTunes created identical but reformatted copied of my music library. I don't need 3 copies of my library, can I delete these? I've been sincing with MM but I sincerely hope all my ratings aren't in one of these other versions. This is very odd, waste of space! How can I fix this?

MediaMonkey doesn't create a copy of your Library (although you as a user can create copies) as it works with the files on your computer as is.

Then what is this? I certainly didn't do that, I never put anything important on my OS drive, and I certainly wouldn't call something MMiTunes, lol.

No one knows how these folders got created? No one knows if I can delete them safely?

MediaMonkey wouldn't create folders called iTunes either. However you may be using the d_iTunes4.dll addon: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... t=d_itunes
