Album art not showing for tracks without album information

Hi,

I'm using MediaMonkey for Android build 854 (released 18-04-2019) on Android 9. It synchs with MediaMonkey 4.1.24.1883. Synchronizing using a cable or WiFi goes well.
All of my mp3s have album art which shows perfectly on MediaMonkey on Windows. Some mp3tracks aren't part of an album so have empty Album and Album Artist fields.

On MediaMonkey for Android, all album art from the mp3s is shown, except for those mp3s with empty Album and Album Artist fields - even though those tracks also have embedded album art.

As soon as I enter 'bogus' Album and Album Artist' information and synchronize the track, the album art shows up on Android.

Thanks for investigating,

charlieMOGUL

Hi,
I guess that those files that do not show Album art are not synced with MMW and as until MMA 2.0 is released we use tags from Google scanner it sounds reasonable that after another sync Album art shows as MMA reads MMW sync metadata and assign album art.

I hope I got your steps correctly?

Hi,

For testing purposes, I deleted all files on the Android device. When synching a file with album art but without album and album artist filled in, no art is shown. When synching the same file with the album and artitst fields filled in, art is shown.

Hi,
That is reasonable as Arts are album based and needs Album And Album Artist filled. We are working on Track Art solution without sacrifice too much resources.

Thanks for looking into it.

Mediamonkey for Windows does always show album art, even though the track has no album or album artist titles filled in. It would be great to have the same experience for Android: Always showing the album art that's embedded into the mp3 file.
