Nested playlists now show up as a flat list

I have a tree of nested auto-playlists synced from Windows Mediamonkey. They used to show up properly, but after my most recent sync, they just show up as a single list.

Which version of MMA and MMW and did you do a USB or wifi sync? Did you sync directly to the device (while MMA was installed) or maybe to the SD card connected to the PC (won't work)?

Windows - MM version 4.1.23.1881
Android - MM version 1.3.3.0843
Synced directly to internal storage of Galaxy S7 through USB

I kind of got it to work by unplugging my phone, deleting all the songs and playlists from my phone, restarting MMW, restarting MMA, and syncing multiple times. Sometimes a couple of the playlists that are supposed to be nested two levels deep will show up at the top level, and sometimes only a portion of the playlists will sync. These problems have gone away after syncing repeatedly, but now some of the playlists which contain both songs and other nested playlists will show up in MMA with only the nested playlists and no songs.
