Hello, I would like to request couple of additional features to improve this great application:
1) It would be nice if song rating is displayed somewhere in MMA, e.g. in song list when you open an album. So far you can only see rating when you play the song and you tap it
2) Is it possible to filter out only let's say songs with rating 3 and higher and play only them?
3) When syncing, can I force the albums deleted on MMA to be deleted on PC? The rationale is I often download a lot of music and test it on phone to see what I will keep. The rest gets deleted.
Thanks!
Zbynek

3) Re. deletion of tracks from the PC, if deleted in MMA, that's not yet supported. The current sync model treats the MM Library as the primary repository, and clients as satellites that can trigger updates to content in the library.
The workaround would be to rate tracks that you want to delete as e.g. 1-star, and then delete 1-star tracks in MMW (or use a script to do so automatically).

Re: Feature request: Rating
1) this was already requested as a feature (http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 21&t=70257) and added to Mantis (http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=10620)
Rusty, could you mark http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11025 as a duplicate of http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=10620?
Really hoping this (i.e. rating display in song lists) will be implemented soon!

Re: Feature request: Rating
Thanks--I've marked the issues as related (I prefer to track features individually).

Re: Feature request: Rating
Just wanted to tag along another rating related feature request....
In the main menu where you can browse by album, album artist, tracks, etc., it would be great to be able to have a menu option for Ratings! I would love to be able to browse by different rating levels.
Can I get an Amen?!

Re: Feature request: Rating
Another approach is to add a genre to the track that indicates you want it deleted (perhaps just "DELETE"). I do this with tracks that need attention (e.g., "fix bad audio", "fix duplicate", "fix wrong metadata", etc). Then in MMW, if you look at the genre "DELETE" it will contain all tracks that you want to delete. If you want to give a reason (e.g., "DELETE artist sucks", "DELETE bad rip", etc) then you could use an autoplaylist to show all tracks containing/starting with "DELETE".rusty wrote:3) Re. deletion of tracks from the PC, if deleted in MMA, that's not yet supported.
