MediaMonkey 1.1.3.480 Beta

Post by rusty »

Hi,

This build fixes 5 crashes, some bluetooth issues affecting certain devices (failure to stop, forwarding tracks after 1s), incorrect track counts, and home screen configuration issues. It's important that you also update to MediaMonkey for Windows build 1762+. Additional details are in the changelog.

We're very close to an RC for MediaMonkey 1.1.3--only about 5 urgent items remain on the to do list, so please let us know if you experience any major issues.

Download Installation:
  • If you have the regular build installed, uninstall it prior to installing the beta (You can't have both the beta and regular builds installed at the same time).
To sideload a build (if you don't have access to Google Play):
    • 1) Download the .apk file to your device.
      2) Open Settings and enable ‘Unknown sources’ via either Applications or Security, depending on your device.
      3) Click the MediaMonkey .apk file that you downloaded from Notifications or Downloads, and then click ‘Install’.
Test Notes:
  • - If testing USB or WiFi Synchronization, please update to the latest version of the MediaMonkey for Windows beta build.
    - The beta builds include all functionality, but expire after 15 days. Note that certain functions may become pay-only features at the end of the beta cycle.
Enjoy and please let us know what you think!

MediaMonkey for Android 1.1.3.523 Test build

Post by rusty »

Hi,

This build includes quite a few changes with respect to USB synchronization that affected numerous devices. There are still some known issues on some devices that we're working on (e.g. Shield tablet), but we've tested it on a broad range of devices and USB synchronization is now much more robust. Keep in mind, though, that USB synchronization relies on your device's MTP implementation which can be finicky on some devices (the most commonly observed issue being that the transfer 'freezes' for a period of several minutes).

Additional details are in the changelog.

Download Note: Make sure to use this with the new MediaMonkey for Windows Beta 4.1.10.1778 build (or higher) that was posted today.

Installation:
  • Note that you can't have both the beta and regular builds installed at the same time.
