shuffle and repeat uttons disappeared

I didn't want shuffle or repeat on. After turning them off, they disappeared, and they haven't come back. Why not just keep them there, unhighlighted? Now I can't figure out how to get them back.

Downloaded MMA from play store today and the shuffle button has gone again. All my classical music is shuffled. Nice

Same procedure. Tap on the Artwork in the Now Playing screen to reveal Shuffle and Repeat button.
