Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can lend any assistance with a problem I'm having installing the Crossfade plugin for MM. Basically I've installed the latest version of the plugin but after installation, MM fails to load past the splash screen. I've tried to diagnose the issue and I think it comes down to the plugin's controller GUI. When I installed the plugin but disabled the GUI from being installed, MM would load and showed the plugin in the output plugin menu. However, once I installed the GUI seperately, again MM failed to load. I modified the INI folder changing ENABLE = 1 to ENABLE = -0. With the GUI disabled, again MM loaded. It appears the GUI is stopping the media player from opening.
Would anyone have any suggestiosn to overcome this issue?
Many Thanks!

Hi,
problem is that GUI do not recognize MMW as winamp compatible app and most likely gets stack in loop resulting in MMW do not start.

No, unfortunately SQRSoft needs to make customized version that works with MMW.

Hi,
You may want to remove this plugin from the Most Popular downloads on the MM site if this is the case as this was where I downloaded it from.
Thanks

Re: SQRSoft Crossfade GUI preventing MM from opening
You don't host the software...... That's not the point. You put a link to the software on the site as a featured add-on. The logical implication to your users is that the add-on should work.. which it doesn't. If it doesn't work, and you are not going to look into finding a fix for it, you should remove the link to it. I, too, use this add-on as it's the best cross-fader I have ever come across. I'm really bummed that it doesn't work in MediaMonkey.
