winamp cdg pluin for karaoke

I installed the winamp cdg karaoke plugin years ago. It would always open a pop up window to display the video from the cdg file just like it should. I have recently updated to windows 10. Sometime between before the update or after the update it quit working. No window opens up. Now if I hover the curser over mediamonkey in the taskbar I can see the preview window next to the mm preview. But it never opens up on the screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin but still get the same thing. any ideas?

Fixed. I just changed the theme to allow windows yo override theme. Restarted and it's working. Haven't changed it to another theme yet so don't know if I'll have the same problem.
