This is a two vinyl lp release "double album", the way discogs tagger works now it can be divided into 1 disc or 4 discs.

Box set from this you can see the LP releases in set are seen a two single discs.

Sorry if I'm making this confusing, basically each vinyl record side A and B should be should be tagged as one disk.

Now i get it, i think. Each vinyl should be tagged as one disk.

LP 1 Side A and B = Disk 1, LP 2 Side A and B = Disk 2

Yes that's it except most of the time in a multi LP set they increase the lettering

LP 1 Side A and B = Disk 1, LP 2 Side C and D = Disk 2, LP 3 Side E and F = Disk 3

Okay, i will check it later this day.

Just released version 5.67.

- Changed the Side to Disc function (2 Vinyl sides are one disc)
- Added a "Deselect all" button

Just tried out the changes you made, not sure if you did this intentionally or it's something you overlooked. But it seems to be doing track numbering based on LP side and not total on disc.

Thank you for your post.

You should use the option "side to disc" in the tagging options. With this it should doing it correct, i hope.
I tried it with the releases you sent. Maybe with other releases i have forget to change some code.

Okay, now i see the bug. The track-numbering always start with a new side, not with the Disc. I will correct this and release a new version.

folgender Sachverhalt:
1. ich markiere in MM einen Musiktitel
2. Autotaggen aus dem Internet
3. Es öffnet sich untenstehendes Bild UND GLEICHZEITIG wird das Cover gespeichert (NUR im Discogs-Tagger, NICHT im MusicBrainz -bei mir unter einem, von mir bestimmten Ordner) - Das sollte doch erst passieren, nachdem ich auf den Button "Auto-Tag" gedrückt habe.
4. Mein gesuchter Musiktitel hat eine Dauer von 6:10





Manual-Search-Kriterien:
Filter habe ich auf "ALLE" eingestellt.



Ergebnis: Der Musiktitel hat eine Dauer von 3:56




Optimal wäre im Manual-Search-Modus doch eine Auflistung aller vorkommenden Titel den Kriterien entsprechend, mit der Möglichkeit zur Auswahl und damit wieder auf das Detail gem. erstem Bild zu kommen. Bitte verstehe dies als Anregung, um anderen wieder um die Nasenspitze voran zu sein.

Das Cover Bild sollte erst gespeichert werden, wenn man den Auto-Tag Button drückt. Das Bild wird jedoch im temp. Ordner zwischengespeichert, damit es angezeigt werden kann. Mit dem Song bzw. Mit dem Release wird das Bild jedoch erst nach Auto-Tag verknüpft.

Auf dem ersten Bild siehst Du, das der markierte Song mit dem angezeigten Release verknüpft ist.

Nachdem Du die manuelle Suche genutzt hast, werden alle Release mit dem gesuchten Songnamen und dem Bandnamen angezeigt. Die Release kannst Du dann in der oberen Drop-down Liste auswählen.
Nach der Länge eines Songs kann bei Discogs nicht gesucht werden leider.

Drow-down-Liste: das ist ja das Mühsame
Ich für meinen Bedarf würde die Listenform vorziehen - und zwar ausschließlich für Manual-Search - , da alle Varianten sofort zu sehen sind und dies bis zu ca. 30 Einträgen. Die Sucherei würde auf ein Minimum eingeschränkt werden.
Titel / Interpret / Songlänge / Jahr / Type / Format / Land / Track# / Album / AlbumArtist

Ah, jetzt verstehe ich was Du meinst.

Ich muss mal schauen, ob sich das sinnvoll machen lässt.
Problematisch ist, das jedes Release von Discogs geladen werden muss, um die Songdaten zu erhalten. Bis alle Daten dann im Tagger sind, kann das dann schon mal 10 Sekunden dauern.
