UPDATE - one final reinstall and I've been able to use the add on.

I haven't done anything different, but it seems like it 'took' this last time. Will keep my fingers crossed that the issue has resolved itself somehow with these repeated installations etc.

You can now close this window.

After getting this message, you have to wait some seconds. A message-box should appear : "The Access Token was stored on your Computer. Now you can use Discogs Tagger till you revoke the permission".
After closing the message-box the script is loading and the authorizimg is complete.

Did you still need to authorize?

Please test the script again and post the 2 (!) error messages, if the prpblem still occur.

I never got the "The Access Token was stored on your Computer. Now you can use Discogs Tagger till you revoke the permission" message when I was having those errors.

However, this last time, of course, right after I posted this thread LOL, I did get that confirmation message and I used it several time last night. I plan on firing it up again tonight and will let you know if it continues to work.

Maybe it was experiencing a timeout of some kind...

i can confirm, i also never got the "follow-up" confirmation message about discogs. i also had the same issue with other addons that use discogs, such as earliest release date http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... lease+date, although, he has updated the app and now it works.

Just start Discogs Tagger again and authorize it. If you see the AccessToken and the AccessTokenSecret in the INet Explorer Window, just copy and paste them in MM -> Tools -> Options -> Discogs Tagger. Restart MM and try again. Now the authorication window shouldn't appear.

Been trying to get this working for the past hour with no luck. Kept opening Page Cannot Be Displayed in EI. Finally opened the url in firefox and got the following error from germanc64.de:

OAuth client error

Error: it was not possible to open the OAuth request token URL: 110 could not connect to the host "api.discogs.com"

Are there any docs that go with this ? The old version was a lifesaver, but now I've updated to something that doesn't give any indication how to authorize to use it.

I see this at Discogs: " We're currently investigating network connectivity issues and are working to have things back to normal soon; please check the forum for updates."

Likely to be the source of the issue. I am having the same problem as you zash66

When I try to auto tag an album autotagger does find the right album but doesn't macht the results to my files, even if I tick them. Is there any way to manually match the found tracks to my files?

I think i know the problem.
Did you have add the files to the MM-Database ? Go to File -> Add/Rescan files to the library. Choose the folder with the mp3-files. Press okay to add them.
Browse on the left side to the folder and try to tag again.
Please leave message if it works or not.

Hey, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately this doesn't work. The problem is that I have this with almost every Album I try to tag. It recognizes and matches most songs accuarately but some of them not. In this case it's Song #1

Did you see the hint in red "There are different numbers of tracks" ?
This means, that you selected 20 (e.g.) songs and the release you choose from discogs have more or less songs. This is important !

Take a look at the first song. The title of this song is "I Am Shadow".
Can you find a song called "I Am Shadow" in the discogs release ? If the song have a wrong name you have to change it, so mm can regonize it.

Using version 4.52 with mediamonkey 4.1.4.1709 portable.
Discogs results page not displaying discogs logo and not displaying or saving Album art to mp3 file.
When I displayed the source of a results page, the links for these were:

Loading the src's above in web browser returns a 404.
Any help would be appreciated.

In reference to the above, after further research the problem is with the word 'images' in the src's. It should be 'image'.

OAuth client error
Error: it was not possible to access the API call: it was returned an unexpected response status 401 Response: {"message": "You must authenticate to access this resource."}

Sigh. This was after many attempts to get it working...

Appreciate the effort hopefully it will work again soon as it was awesome.
