Hey Sven.

I've been out of action. Had to reinstall Windows but my wife had our first baby so I'm great!

I was trying to use DT on "Spawn the Album". No results were found. I searched in the browser & noticed it was officially listed as "Spawn (The Album)". Changing my tag to "Spawn (The Album)" enabled DT to locate it. The parenthesis (or lack of) seemed to cause a problem.

Feature Request! Instead of:
Composer: The Crystal Method; Filter
Producer: The Crystal Method; Filter

Which is very hard to read, can there be an option to display like this instead:

One other thing. :D
Can keywords use the * wildcard?
I would have liked to use "Producer [Additional*]"
to capture:
Producer [Additional]
Producer [Additional Production For Spawn]

Thanx again.

PS What happened in Brazil??? OMG!

I will have a look at the search engine to see what can be done.

Till now you can't use wildcard for the keywords. Again it's a good idea and i'll implement it. Thank you !

I don't know what happened. I think i'm still dreaming. One of the best game ever seen.

The first bug you reported will be fixed in the next release.
The first track of the release "Hilltop Hoods ‎– The Hard Road " is named "-1". I have to see what can be done.

Re: Discogs Tagger 4.46 (Updated: 2014-07-18)

Just released V4.46.

Please read: Important Change regarding Discogs
Starting August 15th, access to our search API endpoint (/database/search) will require OAuth authentication. We receive a large volume of anonymous search requests, and an overwhelming amount are failed requests (e.g., brute-force mp3 taggers), so we would like to be able to monitor these requests at the application level. This is part of an ongoing effort to improve API uptime and response times.

If your Discogs application is already sending authenticated requests to the search endpoint, you do not need to update any of your code. If you use the search endpoint but do not authenticate with OAuth, requests to the search endpoint will fail beginning August 15th, so please make the appropriate updates to your application!
From Version V4.46 the script using the OAuth authentication.
You have to do the following steps in order to use the discogs tagger furthermore :

1. Create an account at discogs if you don't have one.
2. After starting the script you'll see a page to authorize the script to use your account
3. After successfully granting the script you can use discogs tagger as usual. The script store the access token in mediamonkey.ini. With this token it's not possible to change your profile / account at discogs !

When the page to authenticate my account comes up I just get this :

OAuth client error

Error: it was not possible to access the OAuth request token: it was returned an unexpected response status 401 Response: Invalid consumer.

I noticed this release causes DT to list the wrong producers for track 1.
Image

Maybe it's caused by track # equal to CD-1, CD-2 etc. So maybe not your problem.

Note I haven't updated yet! But will give it a go now, thanx.

I released a new version with one small but important change, cause Wscript.sleep doesn't work on all clients. (Thx Skywalka for reporting this issue).

Now you can use * as a wildcard.
