I'm not sure if it will help, but you can disable the ActiveX warning all together.

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem. Of course, the ActiveX notification does not appear, but Monkey Rok behaves as if I had pressed YES.

Hello again, I explain my problem seen above. In MediaMonkey options in the section MonkeyRock Settings then the Text panel you have several choices:
None
Lyrics
Comment
Album comment
Artist comment
Playlists
Lyrics & Commment

What matches the "Artist comment" field? Matches he has a particular tag file?

Let me explain, I would like to enroll in a particular tag artist's biography file. I do not know what tag I could write the biography of my artist. I know that you can view albums and the picture of the artist with LastFM. I would like to show my picture of the artist and biography myself without going through LastFM, so there there a possibility to show my biography register in a particular tag with MonkeyRock Settings? I thought the show with how in the section Artist Text panel. Thank you for your response.

I'm not sure which tag this is stored as in the files, or if it even is. My script uses the API method to get it from the database.

This is still my favorite extension. It really enhances MediaMonkey to the MAX.
Keep up the great work. :)

Hi there

I've been using MonkeyRok for years but started to notice that it was glitching in the playback data.

I had 6.2 installed (working) with the newest build of MM and deleted all of MR's associated files after uninstalling. I've reinstalled MR but now just get an explorer page saying "This Page Can't Be Displayed" and I'm no longer given the prompt about ActiveX. I've read through both this string and the one relating to the older variants. I've tried all of the options listed and am still getting nowhere.

I'd be grateful for any help,

cheers.

Hi all,
a few minutes ago I updatetd two installations with MR 6.2 and I see the same result as testyquesty.

Did anyone find a solution for the problem allready?

Both machines are running Win7 Prof. 64bit. The first one runs since ages, the second one is a fresh installation.

Well,
I found the solution myself!
I uninstalled the MR and reinstalled it. This time I removed the check at "Install only for me. No administrative rights necessary" or something like this (I'm using the german version!). This did the trick. Everything is working like before.

Hi Duke

thanks for giving it a go. I've tried what you've done but still get the message as before.

As i deleted every file I found associated with MonkeyRok, is it possible I deleted something I shouldn't have?

Sorted Now!

I think it was a skin issue, played around with the default skin options in MonkeyRok and sorted it.

The original issue with stats is still there now. For some reason every time I play a 4.5 star song, it adds the play count to both Ratings and Ratings played, but only for 4.5. I have about 600 songs with that rating but its currently saying 1013 in both categories.

Also genre played stats are a mess too with some genres being played more then genre's listed above it eg Pop comes after classical, even though I've played about 500 more files. The ones above that though are in correct order.

I can check out the stats, but I think some of this may just be a misunderstanding. If you have 600 tracks and play all of them twice, then the played stats will say 1200. This is because it is counting each time you play the track, not the number of tracks that have been played.

Hi there
the issues is that the stat group that says how many files are rated as 4.5 stars goes up along with the group for number of files played for that stat rating ie:

File Ratings
***** 1234
**** 2002 (1345)
*** 12345
** 895
* 123

File Ratings Played
***** 2345
**** 2002
*** 9841
** 501
* 131

Note how in this example 4 asterisks for files played is the same as the number of songs rated 4 asterisks. The number in brackets is the actual number of files with that rating but every time a 4 asterisk file is played, both categories go up unlike the other ratings which do not.

Hope this helps!

If I close a MonkeyRok section using the 'X', do I have to go into Tools > Options > MonkeyRok Settings > More (2) to open it again?
If so, then it would be better to remove the 'X' from the interface.
