MM G15 plugin v1.4 for Logitech G15, G13, G510, G19 etc.
I found the lack of G15 plugins that worked with MediaMonkey dissapointing, so I decided to make my own.
Here is a picture of the display (v1.1 on G510, pic by Eyal):
v1.2 w/unicode
Download:
http://meowsmix.com/pages/downloads/MM_G15_1.4.zip
VC++ 2015 redistributable is needed if you don't already have it:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=48145
Full docs + all versions
http://meowsmix.com/mm_g15
User Formats:
User formats are stored in MM_G15.ini. As of version 1.2c the supported formats are:
%TITLE%
%ARTIST%
%ALBUM%
%YEAR%
%ALBUMARTIST%
%RATING%
%TRACK#%
%DISC#%
%PL_TOTAL%
%PL_INDEX%
Version 1.4 adds these:
%COMPOSER%
%CONDUCTOR
%GENRE%
%LYRICIST%
%OYEAR%
%OTITLE%
%OARTIST%
%OLYRICIST%
%PUBLISHER%
%COPYRIGHT%
%CUSTOM1%
%CUSTOM2%
%CUSTOM3%
%CUSTOM4%
%CUSTOM5%
%LASTPLAYED%
%PLAYCOUNT%
%SKIPCOUNT%
%STARTTIME%
%STOPTIME%
%BITRATE%
%SAMPLERATE%
%MOOD%
%ENCODER%
%TEMPO%
You can place as many of these as you want per line to customize your display.
The font and size and position can also be customized in the [SETTINGS] section. Included is an ini set up for latin alphabets. An ini set up for Japanese/Chinese is included in 1.2, it also works fairly well for Russian.

Re: MediaMonkey G15 plugin
Thanks a lot for your work!
Unfortunately there are just too few G19s out there, so unless I start to do something of my own, there won't be any native G19 plugin any time soon I guess.
But your effort is definitely an improvement. Again, thanks a lot!

Nice one. Will test it. I wonder why no one incorporate G15 API into DLL also?
If you need I can make you small MMIP script along with auto-startup of EXE, but you will need to know when MM is closed or make some ways to let your app message that it needs to be closed.
Additionally if you want I could give you my routine (Delphi) for Creating B&W album arts that can be used for G15.

Re: MediaMonkey G15 plugin
This might actually work with the G19. All logitech LCD's use the same API, but the only thing I own is a G15 V1, so unless someone else is willing to test it on another logitech LCD I can't confirm, but in theory it should work.
This already knows when MM is started/not, so a script like that would be useful until I can figure out the less commonly used features of the G15 like auto-start. I actually thought about adding album art, but I decided not too because of the small resolution of the LCD (it's only 43 pixels high), so it would be next to impossible to make anything out, but if people want it I might add it.
I actually made this into a DLL first, but the winamp API doesn't support as much as SongsDB does when it comes to track info, and I couldn't get SongsDB to work from a DLL loaded into MM (if anyone knows anything about this feel free to let me know)
edit: Released v1.1. See the first post.

Re: MM G15 plugin v1.1
Hi,
I just installed the plugin and it works just you've documented apart from %ALBUMARTIST%
I'm using the following ini file:
Page 1 on my G15 shows the following on line 2:
I have tried it on Line 1 as well with the same result. Have also tried various different MP3's all with Artist and Album Artist fields which are not empty.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Frizz.

There was something wrong with the string conversion for album artist, should be fixed now. Download links updated.

Yes it has. It isn't used in the version up for download right now though, as I have to rewrite some of the code.

Re: MM G15 plugin v1.1a
Works fine for the G510, too. After many days of trying to get other things to work - this one just does. I'd love an option for scrolling too, but oh well - this works. Thank you so much!
