Album Art - request

could someone please create a script that changes the album art from id3 to files in a specific folder and vice-versa? the covers inside the id3 are making everything too damn heavy

This is harder than it sounds, I think, unless there's some way to tap into MM's ability to add & remove art. All the art is kept in the actual file, or on disk, not in the DB. I tried to write something to read the art from the file to get the size, but I couldn't get it to work properly.

So, unless there's some shortcut where you can just call "move art" or something, it's tougher than it sounds.

scripting only changes the db, not the actual id3?
