¿Year Batch Finder?
¿Year Batch Finder?
Hi, I like so much the script genre finder in batch mode. Is there anything similar but with the tag "Year" of the publication of the album?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Now this would be a cool script if it could search for the earliest published date.

This has been on my list for over a year now. It's a stupid list. It always gets longer.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

have made a script (but its for picard http://musicbrainz.org/doc/PicardTagger) to tag the original year tag, as well as decade, and by default it gets the correct release date. does require picard, but works in a batch mode, to work fast needs your music to be tagged with musicbrainz info already but thats a good thing anyway. more at this page http://tiptoes.hobby-site.com/mbz/lastf ... mplus.html
it does alot more as well but if all genre options etc are set to 0 it will basically just do year and artist/band countries. all tags made with plugin are mediamonkey compatible. if you do not move and rename files in Picard, just update the tags then mediamonkey will happily update all the year info after a rescan of files.

Re: ¿Year Batch Finder?
How about to find dd/mm/yyyy format dates? Is there a website/database anyone knows of which has dates of release like this?
Re: ¿Year Batch Finder?
Great idea for a script!
Re: ¿Year Batch Finder?
I would love this as I have an entire library that needs dates!!
Re: ¿Year Batch Finder?
I use RightClickForWeb With Tagginghttp://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26875 to take year from wikipedia.

The page appears to be dead. IS there another way to try the script?
Thanks!
