Issue syncing large files to android

I mount my Nexus 5 android device with regular file transfer (MTP)
In Mediamonkey right click a MP4 file and use Send to > Nexus 5 (Syncronize)
After the process is done i get the "there was a problem while copying file" error.

The file I'm failing on is 4.7 GB. I have added the format as supported after receiving auto format errors at first.
Syncing with a 300 MB MP4 file of same codec works just fine.
I can copy the failing 4.7 GB MP4 file to the device without any error in Windows Explorer.
