Note 10 Plus and Wifi Sync

Post by Madison414 » Fri Dec 20, 2019 4:19 pm

I have been using MM for years with a number of different phones; most recently a Galaxy S7 Edge. I recently upgraded to a Galaxy Note 10 plus and I am having difficulty syncing through Wifi. I know that an original sync is recommended to be done through usb but this version of the Note uses USB-C cables on both ends (my windows pc uses standard usb ports) and there is virtually no way to do an initial USB sync as I have been able to do with previous phones.

How can I finally get to sync wirelessly?

BTW: i still see my server on my pc I just needed it to recognize my Note 10 plus.

Thanks in advance.

Start here: ... ork-at-all

There are standard USB (Type A) to USB+C cables available to connect a USB+C device to your PC.

I am 99% sure that the Note 10 plus comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

I see more and more only USB-C-> USB-C cables especially as newer motherboards include USB-C port on back and from what I see also 2019 laptop models also have USB-C port included instead of 2+ USB-A ports.
