Hello,
I'm having trouble syncing APE files to an Moto G5 phone, it keeps giving an error saying "file type not supported."
I went to Tools -> Options -> Portable Device Sync -> Options -> Auto Conversion -> Set Formats, and have added APE as an audio format.
After doing this, the area titled Supported Formats On Device still does not show APE as a supported format. Not sure if this is because I only selected APE under Audio Formats and not File Formats, the latter does not have an option to add APE.
In any case, after doing this I am still unable to sync APE files.
Please advise how to get APE files to sync properly.
Thank you

Re: Unable to sync APE files
File Formats has APE here, it's a non-sorted list so you may have to hunt for it.

Re: Unable to sync APE files
Hi,
May I suggest that you convert your APE files to FLAC in MediaMonkey Manually as it is lossless conversion and FLAC is Much supported format.
I also tested APE files on my Moto X4 Pie (9.0) and they do not play.

Re: Unable to sync APE files
Thanks, after scrolling through the File Formats area more slowly, I found APE and was able to successfully sync the APE files.
