Treat a laptop as a removeable device?

Post by Tippon »

Is there a way to treat my laptop like a phone?

I've got a large music library that won't fit onto my laptop, so I want to sync playlists to it like I would with my mobile, but ideally link to my main library when I'm at home, or sync from my main computer. At the moment I can sync a playlist to my phone and MMW will only copy the files in the playlist, saving space.

Apologies if this can already be done, but I can't see how. Thanks for any help :)

d_USBMass can be setup to a drive letter. Network locations can be setup as a Mapped Drive. So you can sync to a Mapped Drive location on the laptop: https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... e-plug-in/

Hi,
Please note that if you Use d_USB plugin it is possible that some WMDM (Play For Sure Devices) will stopped being recognized.
