FiiO X7 sync playlist, lets get to bras tacs

Post by Hagar »

I have a FiiO X7 player with Media-monkey Pro installed. Neat device.

I have Media-monkey 4 gold on my Windows 7/10 system.

How oh how can I get playlist in Media-monkey Pro mobile to work like they do on the desktop version?

I know when using the Pure direct mode, I'm not using Media-monkey and its really convoluted to use playlist which I haven't got to work either.

The device is seen in desktop monkey, Will sink music, but those elusive playlist, got get there from here.

Sorry, my exasperation with this is over the top.

I have a FiiO X7. I bought Media-monkey Pro from the app store since the Fii X7 is android based. So I have Medimonkey Gold on my desktop and when I plug in my FiiO X7 to sync, I can't for the life of me get playlist to work.
I have playlist I created that separate my music into respective years. If I want to listen to 70's, I have a playlist for that. If I want to listen to 71 only, I have a playlist for that.
I know the FiiO X7 needs a / instead of \ or is it the other way. Anyway, I was hoping for a blow by blow to put me out of my misery and get this to work.

Thanks,
Dave

Sorry, guess the X1 and X7 are just enough different to not work the same.

I'm having trouble using MMA where it will start to play and then stop, try the next song, same thing plus to make matters worse, no album art.

BUT, when I use the built in Pure Music Mode, songs play all the way through and there's all my album art.

Playlist still are not working in Pure Music Mode but I can select "GENRE" and that works fine in Pure Music Mode.

I really wonder if you might be able to simply state step by step to sync to include playlist from MM (PC) to MMA? Or are portable DAP's internal difference's that make it so hard?

I use to be a super geek, but as I get older, I find it more difficult with today's expectations of today's gizmos. It should just work and it doesn't.

(I had to edit this to make a little more sense after reviewing it.)
