iTunes playlist sync AND syncing to two SD cards

Post by Moviecane »

I have been using MM for about a year now, and there are two problems I have not been able to figure out.

1. I can manually import playlists from iTunes, but since some people in our house use iPads and some use Android, I was really hoping to have MM automatically update the iTunes playlists. Is there a way to do that I am missing? I enabled playlist sharing in iTunes, but MM always gives me the message that I have to do it manually.

2. My wife and I both have Galaxy S7s, and we both have our music syncing to our SD cards. Our phones have different names, so we can tell them apart, and MM sees the different names if we want to sync to internal memory. However, it treats the 2 SD cards as the same, so we cannot sync different things to our phones. Even though our phones are named, both SD cards are "Galaxy S9 SD card." My wife and I do not listen to the same music, so it would be great if we could differentiate.

Thanks!

1) There is no automation for Playlists between MediaMonkey and iTunes.

2) Are you saying you have 1 Device Profile for the SD cards in MMW or that you have 2 Device Profiles, but the same name? If you have 1 Device Profile you may have cloned the cards (and thus taken its identifier used by MediaMonkey as well).
