playlist taking songs from album list on usb

I have all my cd's in a folder loaded on usb. Works great. When I add a playlist to this usb it takes the songs that are on that list off of my albums. I use <Playlist><Auto Number><Title><Artist> for playlist and \Music\<Album Artist> - <Album>\<Track#:2> $Left(<Artist>,20) - <Title> for albums. Tried sync mask on and off with same result
Is there a way to keep my album list whole as well as adding the playlist to the usb? Is it a usb problem?

Do you mean that the files are no longer in the Album folders, but instead in Playlist folders? That would be because <Playlist><Auto Number><Title><Artist> says to do that.

Ok thanks. That is exactly what is happening. I will keep trying other things and feel free to let me know if you know the solution I am looking for.
