I searched all over but couldn't find an answer. Here's my dilemma.
Certain tracks in my library have what I consider unnecessary noise/talking at the begin or end of the song. I use MediaMonkey to edit the Start Time or Stop Time of the track to eliminate the "noise" (File Properties / Details). However, when I try to synch my updates back to Android, the edited/new Start/Stop Time doesn't get passed along.
I've tried deleting the track from Android and re-synching with the new/updated track, but it still does not pass along my edits.
Am I missing something? It's more of a nuisance/inconvenience, but I'd love to figure out how to resolve it.
Thanks!!

Re: Updated Start/Stop Time not synching
Me too...except I use an outside program (GOLDWAVE - it is AWESOME) to actually edit the file and fade in and out. I have the same syncing issue. MM doea not change the time to reflect the new time of the edited file and MM will not sync the new new/edited track to my device unless I delete it from device first. This is problematic because i forget which files I've updated and on which device.
PS the TIMESTAMP of MM says Today. What criteria does MM use to update files for sync.

Hi,
You need to rescan files and as file already exist on Device only way to resync is to delete file on device there is no way MMW will know file Audio data is changed from MMA one.
