Thumb drive not visible for syncing.

I'm a newbie. I'm switching from Media Player to MM.

My thumb drives are not showing up as available to sync.
I find this happens after I've made any change to the thumb drive. The drive shows up in my computer listing but not separately for syncing.

Any explanations or suggestions?

So they did show prior to the chances? Which version of MediaMonkey and Windows?

Hi,
That is the windows related issue where windows determine if USB flash Drive or SDCard inserted into Reader is Media Device or Storage Device which then depends on how MMW detect it I have that with My card reader where when I insert new blank SDCard into Card reader it is detected as MediaDevice in both Windows and MMW but as soon as I Finish Sync (No matter if I use MMW or Plain File copy in explorer) SDCard gets Drive letter and is detected as Storage device

All of a sudden i have the same issue; my usb-stick G: does not show in the Devices Section to autosync; neither does another stick??

Do you still have d_USBMass1.dll or MediaMonkey USB Mass Storage Plugin under Tools > Options > Extensions?

Did anyone find an answer for this? I have been able to sync to these devices. Today I reformatted to change the selection of playlists and now MM does not recognize the device as syncable. I installed the old Extension that used to be with the product, still no go. Any thoughts?

Hi,
Uninstall extension, as it can interfere with device detections (thus it was removed, but left as external plugin for users taht wants to force USB MSC sync) or manually setup extension to use Drive letter of thumb drive.
