Re: device deleted or removed

Re: device deleted or removed
In the options, I deleted or removed some devices that appeared in duplicate and no way to display the SD CARD of the phone, for example, while it appears well with the windows explorer

Hi,
What happen if you enable "SAMSUNG Externe" as it looks like SD Card?
If you want to be sure Delete all others also while they are disconnected.
I would also suggest tht do a simple test by Installing MMW as portable (Select during install) as separate installation to c:\MMWtemp and test is that will detect SDCard?

Re: device deleted or removed
Just connecting should recreate removed devices. However Samsung Externe may be your card and would need to be enabled to be seen as Peke mentioned.

Re: device deleted or removed
I just added a portable installation and my phone is easily accessible with the SDcard, but still not on my fixed installation ... I do what now?
Re: device deleted or removed
I just did some tests:
1) Portable installation recognizes the SDcard of the phone
2) Fixed installation does not see the sdcard
3) If I inject the base MM.DB on the portable installation the SDcard is no longer visible so the problem comes from the content of the database
Looking at the contents of the database I see a table concerning the devices and I imagine that I would have to duplicate one another, it will surely solve my problem but I would not have the explanation why The SD card is not recognized at every introduction, and so sooner or later the problem will recur ...
Does anyone have any information on that?
Merci
edit : My problem is not new I see a topic dating from 2014 and still active that describes the same thing

Re: device deleted or removed
As you already copy DB to portable, I would suggest that you delete all the d_WMDM devices (one needs to exist eg. "Samsung Externe""?) and then reastart MMW and connect phone. It should be detected?

Re: device deleted or removed
I can not delete a row in this table because SQLiteManager gives me an error :
SQLiteManager: DELETE FROM `main`.`Devices` WHERE `ID` IN (51) [ no such collation sequence: IUNICODE ]
Exception Name: NS_ERROR_FAILURE
Exception Message: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [mozIStorageConnection.createStatement]
I can create / duplicate but not delete...
edit : I just format the sd card again directly on android and now MMA and MMW see it !!!
