After having spent numerous hours trying various syncing combinations with the latest versions of MMW and MMA on my Windows 7 PC and Galaxy 5S I have the following observations:
1. USB syncing is a mess and contains many inconsistencies, bugs, missing tracks, playlists, takes forever, and is very frustrating. Syncing via USB with MMA and MMW needs more work before it's ready for prime time.
2. WiFi syncing works like a charm. No problems, is relatively straightforward, no crashes thus far, and syncs pretty quickly, about 2-4 seconds per track, and took only about and hour and <8% of my battery to sync 2200 tracks the first time. Needless to say I'm very please with the WiFi syncing performance.
Thanks for everyone's help trying to work through the issues, especially lowlander.

1) You'll need to capture a debug log (step 4b) and send to the log to support for troubleshooting: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=12&t=69

Re: Syncing MMW and MMA: My experience V2
Today I noticed that I had duplicate tracks on my S5 and in my playlists after syncing via WiFi. To my knowledge, I hadn't made any fundamental change to any settings. After some analysis, I found I had checked the box to save files to internal storage and to external storage on the SD card. I unchecked the internal storage box, resynced, and I believe everything is back to the way it is supposed to be.
Something to be careful about!
