Adding Files to the root of each folder

Post by cyberyaga »

Hello... This is my first post. I LLOOOOOVE MediaMonkey. Been using it for a few years now.

I recently upgraded my car headunit to a Pioneer DEH-p7100bt. Great Head Unit, and works great with my USB Hard Drive. With just one problem: The random function only works when its automatic (meaning that the song ends and the unit will choose at random the next track). If I press next, the radio will actually move to the next song on the folder. Evidently a huge problem when you have over 40 gigs of songs.

There is a quirky work around (and this is the reason for my post). If you place an empty music file, the head unit will try to play it and the random function will kick in.

So, is there any way that I can make MediaMonkey place this "empty" music file at each folder that is created? I know this can be done with a batch file run post-synching, but I don't want to kick myself if I'm in my car and realize that I forgot to run the batch file after I Synchronized with my Hard Drive.

Thanks in advance for your help.
