I know it is not a help forum but we try to help when we can. so I'm just asking any of you that still have windows 7
what does the padlock mean on shortcuts where the arrow use to be? some shortcuts have the arrow and some have a padlock?

The padlock is a Symbol that Shows you that this file isn't shared with any other user than you.
