Convert MP3 files to ringtones

Does anyone know of any software that will convert MP3's to ringtone format for mobile phones?

If you think about Polyphonic melodies then I can't help as they are MIDI files with different header. I remembered that there was one converter that will convert WAVE to Ringtone but limit was 3 Sec.

Nokia datasuite has an applette that'll do this I think.

I does depend largely on what make and model your phone is and what ringtone formats it accepts. As mine uses mp3s as ringtones it's quite easy!
