Judy Collins with the acapella version of Amazing Grace
KorkyKat, if you like that, look out for Amazing Grace by Joanna Hogg of the band Iona.

I would answer this but since it's such a patently stupid question I don'tthink I will...

the only thing stupid here is your reply to me.

You keep telling yourself that, it won't make your posts any more intelligible.

The people here are talking about songs or pieces of music that inspire an emotional response from them, gives them goosebumps in other words, makes the hairs on the back of their necks stand up, brings a tear to their eyes, whatever image you want to apply to the phrase 'that gives me the chills' not songs that scare them. Now do YOU understand the question because, from your response about the song being scary clearly shows you don't........

I apologise for my tone in my posts to you, they were insulting in a way that there was no need for and I'm sorry.

It is much feelings in Operas, especially with competent singers. So i think Luciano Pavarotti must be mentioned; when he sings Vesti La Giubba I Pagliacci, the hair raises on my arms. A female singer also to be mentioned in the opera genre is Birgit Nilsson, she had such a capacity, never sounded forced, only perfect.
