I don't use itunes, but this might be good news for those who do.
itunes drm cracked
Moderator: Gurus
What a lot of mucking around to go to just to be able to use something you purchased ligitimately, the way you want to, without restriction!
For me, it's just easier not to buy DRM restricted music, and I don't, and I won't.
BTW did a quick search on google and that crack mentioned didn't record even one hit??

And also the WMA DRM was cracked. Microsoft already provided a patch to content providers.
Both are good cracks as they don't modify the sound quality in anyway, they just take the drm header out of the song. Of course this is illegal in most country.

I note a report on a new site "Twisted Frog" that intends legally to allow downloads of songs free but with heavy ad content on the path to download.
Apparently this has been ok'd by the music industry watch dogs, would these downloads still DRM do you think?
My guess is yes
This was announced on New Zealand TV News

Yes the songs will still have DRM implemented. And in this case it will start with music from Universal and some smaller alternative labels. There is no news in what form the advertising will be and I wouldn't be surprised if it's geographically limited.

since the first thing wrong was done the people doing it have always tried to find some way of making it sound correct and allowable for them to do the wrong thing.
they never have found a way to make wrong be right and never will.
but they still keep doing things wrong and still keep trying to make thir actions sound right.
this will go on until the end of time.
and in a shorter way of saying the above,
people will always try to get around the restrictions put on them.
