Media Server output format

When I play a file through either of my Blu Ray players, using MM as a music server, they report the format as MP3 even though the files are FLAC. Is this a setting issue or a hardware/software problem? The files play as FLAC when I use the USB port on the Blu Ray.

Hi,
When Client connects to MMW server it passes supported formats. It is known that FLAC is supported over USB but officially not supported over DLNA.

That is bad news, but as a good news you can tell MMW that device supports FLAC and that it should be synced without conversion (NOTE: for some devices it works and for some id do not work). Here are the steps:
1. in MMW go to Tools -> Options -> MediaSharing
2. Double click on MediaMonkey Library
3. On first Tab "UPNP/DLNA" you will see the list of devices that accessed Server
4. Find one you ant to change and double click
5. in Auto Conversation tab under set formats
6. Check FLAC as supported format
7. Confirm change
8. Try on device

Again this worked on some devices but some do not support it :( I have even managed to Stream plain x264 MKV file that contained multi audio stream and AC3 to Some TVs with this change, but on some unfortunately I got unsupported codec or no audio.
