It's easier to illustrate the problem with gifs.
Here is the behavior when that option is set to "all". It works great. Notice how the currently playing track gets automatically centered in Now Playing panel at the bottom.
Here is the behavior when that option is set to anything other than "all". Notice how the Now Playing panel jumps way ahead for no reason.

It is Designed behavior and it was always like that.
eg. MMW add tracks to Now Playing list and focus to playing track and after that AutoDJ remove tracks from now playing list and change the order which moves focus from now playing track.
Reason for that behavior is that Scripts are executed with event after Now Playing changes are done and if for example there is few Now Playing Scripts then MM UI would Jump Around and interfere with now playing normal use.
