Rate Several Songs at Once

Post by brianalwarner »

Hello,
I'm new to MediaMonkey. I'm typically a late adopter and and finally been forced to leave iTunes. My music library is currently at 130k+ songs and I need to organize it. Several songs are duplicated and I want to eliminate them. However, I don't want to eliminate the ones that are in my playlists. I thought a work-around would be to rate all of the songs in each playlist so that I can see that they are rated in my overall music list and NOT delete those ones as duplicates (but delete the other songs that are). But, I can't figure out how to highlight all of the songs in a playlist to rate them all at the same time.
Can someone help me out with this?
Thank you so much!

Select files, right click, Rating and select the Rating you want to set for all selected files or right click, Properties to edit Rating for all selected files.

Hi,
I would also suggest that instead of Rating you use Mood or other classification fields (even designate one of custom ones).
