Hi,
I have some .ape file with very high bitrates (>1000). They only pay occasionally and only after Mediamonkey has thought about it for a bit.
Is it the file extension or is it the bit rate size? Is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks!

Hi,
.APE format is lossless compression format and it is normal to have high bitrate.
Yes seeking can take time and MMW do not use own plugin but rather developer playback plugin, we made our own tagging support.
As it is lossless format I would suggest to convert your Ape files to FLAC format and compare.
I personally prefer FLAC over APE due the more widespread support.
