New to MM need help on directories

Post by xpac5896 »

I installed MM, newest version and associated 2 folders containing mp3's when installing. I decided later not to do this and decided to copy the folders from one drive to another because I couldn't get MM to play any of my mp3s, they were on "E" drive, I moved them to "D" drive, still won't play the mp3s, guess they have to be on "C". Any rate, I wanted to remove the folders I originally associated when installing but can't find where to remove them. I wanted MM to scan folders each time it starts because I'm always adding mp3s and it scans both "E" drive PLUS "D" drive. How do you remove folders associated after MM is installed?

It should work fine from any drive letter, maybe: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/ind ... ista788110 (or https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/ind ... -dont-play)

You're referring to Folder Monitoring which can be disabled in the File > Add/Rescan Files dialog (right side): https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... he_Library

Any files from these drives already added won't be removed when de-selecting what to scan. You can do this from the Music > Location node in the Media Tree by right click > Remove on the drive.
