Copy audio from PC to MM playlist

Post by les braden »

I bought and downloaded compressed audio files onto my win 7 64bit pc. I extracted the files and I copied 1 of the 2 discs to a new playlist in media monkey which I was able to burn onto a disk for playing in my car. But I dont appear to be able to copy the second disc to its own playlist using the same method. I simply dragged and dropped the disc 1 files from where they are stored in my D: drive, to the box beside the new playlist. It seems like it should be easy to search my pc for these audio files and have them load into MM gold complete with artwork which came with the download. What on earth am I doing wrong and how do I make this easy. My MM is 4.1.21.1875 Ive had MEdia Monkey for years and I dont quite get how it works. Please make it simple.

Drag&Drop or import the files into the main collection, and then copy them to your second playlist. If they don't appear in the main collection, they may have the wrong format or errors.

Files need to be in the MediaMonkey Library to be added to a Playlist in MediaMonkey.

I needed an AC3filter codec when copying
