Global search and replace on metadata fields

Is there any way to do a global search and append on the 'genre' field? I'd like to append ";lossless" to whatever is in the genre field so that I'm able to filter for my flac files using an android app (Squeeze Controller) that routes my Logitech Media Server files to my living room speaker. I don't want to listen to compressed formats on my high fidelity system.

I need this because the android app can only filter on genres and can't filter on bitrates or file extensions like .flac. If MM can't do it, does anyone know of any software that can do a global search & replace/append on audio metadata fields?
