Album Data

Post by zerobias »

I have an issue with my library and MediaMonkey. I have over 10,000 music files on my server. All were ripped from CD's, some as WAV files and some as FLAC, and all through MediaMonkey. I am unable to download album information reliably. For instance, many albums only appear as a list of tracks. All of my Beatles albums, many Neil Young albums and other assorted artists' albums fail too provide any album data. All in all, I'd say maybe 25% of the albums have no data. Any ideas? Should I try another music management program like JRiver? Any input will be welcomed.

This is common with WAV as it has no tagging standard. You'll need to tag the files. If Folder/Filenames have data you are in luck: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... lename/4.0 Otherwise try: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ogs+tagger
